We had a great trip. But it sure did go by fast. Here are some highlights of the trip:
1. Enjoying an intimate dinner sitting in Mario Andretti's booth at the Golden Steer. Very vintage Las Vegas. There were also booths there for John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, and others who use to frequent the restaurant.
2. Enjoying dinner at the Golden Steer while watching a couple get into an argument. Who knew dinner came with entertainment.
3. Checking out Fremont Street (again, very vintage) and watching Alan eat a 10 lb. prime rib for the second night in a row.
4. Running into Carrot Top at New York New York, but not being fast enough to get a photo.
5. Laughing until our sides hurt as random volunteers embarrassed themselves at a hypnosis show on the strip.
6. Watching the lions at MGM Grand.
7. Being serenaded by a harmonica player who played a very bad version of "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton in front of the Bellagio fountains which weren't going off that night because of high winds. UGH!
8. Eating lots of yummy food that I didn't have to cook.
9. Watching the various people on the strip, especially the drunk couple who kept making out and then eventually stopped to take our picture. Needless to say, that photo was a little blurred. :)
10. Spending some quality time with my husband. Words can't express how much we needed that time together. I love falling in love with him again!
A view of the Grand Canyon from the plane. (Well, I guess that is pretty obvious!)
Freemont street during the day.
Here we are in front of Paris on the strip.

Looks cool. Freemont street looks really cool. We totally missed that. We apparently only saw the really good sights like... the guy who pulled his pants down to sit on the curb. Glad you had fun, and somehow you still manage to continue to fall in love again with "noassatall" guy! hmmm... weird. Ha!! JK Alan!
